Supports to Reborn! Upcycling Design Award 2023
The Hong Kong ESG Club is also thrilled to recognise the International Centre for Sustainable Development (ICSD) for its outstanding contribution to the Reborn! Upcycling Design Award 2023. International Chamber of Sustainable Development supports the SDG initiative by being a prize sponsor of Reborn! Upcycling Design Award 2023. It aims to provide exposure opportunities for upcycling businesses, to encourage sustainable development and environmental protection, and to be inspired by exchanging ideas with government officials, corporates, and environmental groups. The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Hong Kong Jayceettes, organisers of the event, have rallied widespread support from prestigious institutions, including the Environmental Protection Department, YPark, OPark, major local universities (HKU, PolyU, HKDI, HKUST), and green organisations such as Green Earth and Drink Without Waste. Their collective efforts are set to enhance the Circular Economy and underline the transformative value of upcycling. Upcycling stands as a testament to the power of creativity and technology in building a sustainable future. This eco-friendly concept reimagines the purpose of old items, transforming them into valuable treasures. The Hong Kong ESG Club invites everyone to join the cause and support ICSD's mission to turn 'waste into treasure'. Together, we can champion a sustainable future and redefine the value of what we once considered waste.
